It's alright. It's not all that original, which is basically what I look for in these slasher flashes, especially Madness. I don't know about anyone else, but to ME, mindless gory killing gets pretty boring after a while.

For a start, anyway. It was too easy for my tastes. You should also definitely get some tunes in there. I was also hoping for some more physics involved, like, little bricks toppling over sometimes or a smoother transition of when the bricks disappear.

Body Ladder

Well, this game sure is mindlessly violent, there's no doubt about that. Normally, I wouldn't be very amused by a pointless game where you just have to kill, kill, kill. But this game, it... has some point to it, if you can ever even say that for a mindless shooter. At least it's realistic in the way that the bodies don't disappear five seconds after you kill them. (Though after a while, I was incredibly disgusted by how many corpses were stacked on top of one another...)

The only thing I'd say to improve this game is longer/better audio. After playing this for a little more than 10 minutes, the same short loop being played over and over again begins to get quite annoying. You also might wanna consider putting in an occasional change of setting, or somehow incorporating the idea of different levels with different goals...

But whatever, you won't ever do any of that stuff anyway. Nice job!

Like some other people have said, the only part I didn't like about it was the overuse of effects. This made the whole experience of watching this flash generally overwhelming. I think that you also overused those alchemy circles in a way that made this guy seem like he was invincible, and that he doesn't even have to try in order to kill a whole gang of gun-wielding thugs. I think you should cut out up to half of the alchemy circles used, and make it more about the stickman's general fighting ability.

At 1:30 in the morning, that closet actually scared me at first, hahaha. Man, the way you're able to combine great facial expressions with sick, twisted and hilarious humor creates an incredibly flash movie as we've seen here.

Personally, I prefer turn-based RPG's, it gives me more time to think of strategy. Now, you say that the game involves strategy, but I don't think that that is so, unless you consider strategy having an incredibly quick reaction time.

In my opinion, for this game to be my ideal game, it'd have to be turn-based, that's all. Even if there isn't any animation, I'd be cool with that.

Author's Response:

The strategy lies in discovering how the opponent is going to act and countering his skills. You must anticipate his actions, not necessary have a quick trigger finger to use AS he is casting. Watch his cooldowns too to see when he s going to use his stun or healing (if they have those skills). The guide on my profile also helps.
